I love peanut butter, or just about all nut butters out there, and peanut butter sandwiches are favorites in my family! But, so many times I find myself having a hard time deciding whether I want a peanut butter sandwich with Nutella or with strawberry, jam, or blueberry, or raspberry, you get the idea…
Anyway, so I came up with a solution to satisfy both cravings by using a couple of different flavors in one sandwich. I made a Two for One Peanut Butter Sandwich recipe.
All you do, is smear the peanut butter (or in my case, almond butter, because I ran out of the peanut stuff) on both slices of bread and then on one slice add some strawberry jam on just one half of the bread. Then, on the other slice, spread some Nutella over half the bread as well. Just be sure to put the fruit jam or Nutella on opposite sides so that when you close the sandwich, they won’t touch.
And that’s it! Now you have both flavors in one sandwich and you will have fun eating it because you will get a different taste on each bite, depending on which side you eat from!
Kids will like this too, and will have a blast eating a sandwich that has so many different flavors. It’s such a simple recipe, but it gives excellent results!
Enjoy!
