Easy and Quick Mac and Cheese With Meatballs Recipe
For those days that you’re out of time and still need to make dinner for the kids (and/or family), this is a great recipe that can be made in minutes. It tastes awesome and is a complete meal in one dish!
All you need is your favorite brand of mac and cheese – organic, conventional, whole wheat, whatever, any type will work – frozen peas and frozen meatballs. For the meatballs you can also use any style, such as beef, turkey, chicken, etc… whatever you like best.
Okay, so this how you make it: Cook the mac and cheese as per the instructions on the box, but add about a cup of the frozen peas into the pot two minutes before the cooking time ends.
While the pasta boils, cook the frozen meatballs (2 or 3 per person) in the microwave (follow the instructions on the package). Then, once the pasta is done, mix all the ingredients to make the mac and cheese. Dish it out onto bowls and put the meatballs on top. Done!
