Hilary Duff hits gym just a week after giving birth!?
On today’s Celebrity Mom Post, I am going to pick on the sweet and dear actress Hilary Duff a little. While it’s great news that she gave birth to a healthy baby, the young new mom has already hit the gym only one and a half weeks after delivering.
Don’t get me wrong, I really like Hilary and have always thought of her as one of the few stars that is well grounded an still has some common sense. But, I have to say, that she may be getting a little ahead of herself by not letting her body rest after she had a baby…
Doctors always say to wait at least 4 weeks before starting up your exercise again after having a baby. I mean, I get that she probably wants to lose the baby weight as soon as possible, but really, isn’t waiting until your body heals somewhat of a good idea?
Anyway, she should do what she thinks is best, but in my opinion the crazy need to lose weight after having a baby, is a bit overkill with some people. Especially those in Hollywood. Maybe the pressure to be thin so she can get back to work again is to blame, but honestly, what’s a few more weeks?
Take it easy, enjoy the baby and give yourself a break!
